Selena, Derreck and Clint are still in Scotland, only having travelled a hundred miles since they arrived. Their jeep has a flat tire from running over a shopping cart. They find another car but almost go off a bridge. Derreck, who is blind, mentions that he knows how to drive a train, because of his father--so they make their way to a nearby train station. It's filled with dead, rotting bodies. They get the train going but it's crammed with the infected. Derreck ends up sacrificing himself, and the other two go with it because there's really no better alternate if any are to survive. They find car and make it to another city but encounter more survivors where they are taken captive and taken to King Dickson, a former drug lord. His right hand man, Raj, is understanding, and tries to give them good advice to survive. For example, when Selena is ordered to participate in "The Mannequin" for running off her mouth to the King, Raj tells her to stand in the circle, very still, in the middle of the cage. Why? Because it's the only place the infected will be unable to reach her. In order to block out the screaming crazies she imagines she's someplace else, until she's rescued by people who've been raiding Dickson's food supply. Meanwhile, Clint tell Raj that he's a journalist on assignment and that only Britain is infected. Raj is shocked. When Dickson hears this he screams that Clint is lying, insisting the whole world is like this. Dickson's group and the one Selena was saved by clash, which gives her an opportunity to rescue Clint. They find another car and drive off...
This continues to be a good sequel to the original movie. Recommended.
