This second book has a more direct tie to the Invader's adventures during WWII. A "Dazzler" like Japanese Super heroine learns something about the Invaders and goes on a rampage. This has to do with why they did not stop the nuclear bombs from being exploded in Japan. Ironically, it has something more to do with her grandmother, who fought alongside the Invaders and their sidekicks.
The villain, Dagmar, isn't quite who he seems to be-and he's resurrected a horde of Deathloks from the various multiverses to do his bidding.
I enjoyed this book slightly better than the first. It definitely takes advantage of the scope of the Marvel Universe and even brings in the Martian's from Killraven's reality of WAR OF THE WORLDS. Recommended.
