This is an interesting introduction of a new character with a previously used name. It begins at the headquarters of the Alternate Reality Monitoring and Operational Response agency. There's a breach from alternate reality Earth-8009, which turns out to be a tall, green skinned, red haired woman. The agents try to stop her, thinking this may be the start of an invasion, but she's simply interested in capturing the world's most powerful superhero according to her world's records--which turns out to be Norman Osborne, who is in charge of the Dark Avengers. This new She-Hulk turns out to be the result of a genetic splice between the DNA of Thundra and The Incredible Hulk. Her future society is divided between her own people, all female and artificially gestated, and the males, who are all divided in various tribes that mimic such past heroes as Spiderman and Wolverine.
There's an entertaining brawl between her and Jennifer Walters, the original She-Hulk, and a fight with the Dark Avengers. At first I wasn't too sure about this new incarnation and took me about halfway through the book before I decided that I liked it. She's sort of like a bulked out emerald version of Wonder Woman. There's also a cool twist with her gamma spawned powers. Recommended.
