I guess the third times the charm, or maybe not 'cause I ain't read the first two. I will hunt them down though after checking this one out. I like the style and I loved the contents. It's slick (in both paper and features), well done, and cheap at $5 an issue. Great stuff in here folks; enjoyed the 1st part of the Rob Zombie interview and am still highly anticipatin' his House of 1000 Corpses. You'll get some good movie reviews, interviews, and some great articles. I particularly like the new masters of horror series article. This one focused on director Larry Fessenden. A cool retrospect on I Spit on Your Grave, an interview with Paul Partain (Franklin from Texas Chainsaw), and a history of Bill Moseley's band Cornbugs by the man himself. All good stuff here and this mag should blow up soon as it's off the chain in every way. Look for it at most major book sellers or order it through a comic shop. Like the photo caption said in the mag's picture of Gunnar Hansen and Paul Partain, if you don't know who Gunnar Hansen is, put the mag down, great advice these days. Thrown in for good measure among the reviews was even a book review of Herschell Gordon Lewis, Godfather of Gore: The Films by Randy Palmer available from McFarland Press. Are You Going? Proves to be another great new mag that gives us all a Fango alternative for less money. This was way more than a pleasant surprise for myself, sure you'll enjoy as well.
