The first eight issues of the Valiant's BLOODSHOT series is collected here. He's a white skinned, red-eyed humanoid who has computerized cells that make him more than human. He used to work for the mob but his memory has been erased--and for most of the book he's trying to figure out who he used to be. Glimmers of this come back when he goes back to Flatbush, Brooklyn. Along the way lots of people die, from the people who created him to the criminals he used to work for. I could see this as a decent Arnold movie from the 90's. Other Valiant characters appear, such as the Eternal Warrior, Rai and Ninjak. I enjoyed this, but not as nearly as much as the original HARBINGER and X-O MAN OF WAR.
