The first issue of this FANGORIA comic book has me hooked. The story is about a deranged, 'Leatherface' type killer, and his insane mother who live in an old house. They are killed but are somehow able to reappear twenty years later and continue their havoc. A married couple and their son are caught in a storm and nearly killed by a falling tree. They take refuge in the house. There's also a group of punk kids and, of course, the Sheriff, who has been haunted by all those bloody events. The story combines elements of TEXAS CHAINSAW massacre with PUMPKINHEAD and your classic ghost story and comes up with an entertaining read. It's so weird I'm eager to read the next issue.
