This six-part series from Wildstorm Comics indeed captures the feel of those 80's FRIDAY THE 13th movies. It also provides an interesting back-story as to the bloody origins of Crystal Lake, which involves settlers and Native Americans. This ties in with Jason's murderous origins and why he kills everyone who comes to the lake. As far as the human characters, there's a group of camp counselors who all end up getting killed in the end, in extremely visual and gory ways. Issue six ends in such a way as any story can easily pick up Jason's exploits. If you're a FRIDAY THE 13th fan this will not disappoint.
