When I first heard that IDW was going to be doing a comic book series of GHOST WHISPERER I was wondering how they'd pull it off, considering the main reason people (well, guys) watch the show is for two reasons.
The character's personalities are captured well and the story is a bit darker in tone, this first story concerning a young woman ghost who wants revenge on the group of girls she believes is responsible for their deaths. This is resolved with her finally forgiving them and "going into the light", but the story introduces a creature who says he's Osiris, this big black human headed bird who gives Melinda a warning never to steal a soul from him again. Like the dark man in the series, he wants the souls to himself.
If you're a fan of the show you'll enjoy the comic.
