Here's a great spooky book to read around Halloween. Let the wind caress your open windows and read this book alone, around 3 in the morning. See if you can take it...Some horny teens, developed a billion times better than anything in a cardboard slasher movie, meet in a small town and get to know each other one summer. One of the gals has a flair for adventure...nekkid swimming, having sex in public, driving reckless. You get the idea. She's bored, and as our protagonist/narrator falls in love with her one hot summer, he gets caught up with trying to please her. Her friends are always up for a little adventure too.The sleazy, voyeuristic fun takes a spooky turn, Jack Ketchum style, when the urban legend tales begin about a local, abandoned, possibly haunted house. What happened to the family that lived there? What about the murders? Did the town really go after them? What did they REALLY do? Is it possible that they still live in the house somehow? Does one of them still reside in the basement? Our foursome decides to take a dare one dark night, playing 'hide and seek' in the local cursed house. What follows is incredible chills, thrills, and spooks that will send the hair on the back of your neck straight up! You will feel the uneasiness as Jack Ketchum unleashes his haunting, poetic magic on the four characters we have come to like and know. Will they get out of the house alive? Is it haunted...or is the threat more tangible...like evil still residing there?Find out in this quick but delightfully spooky yarn!
