In this trade paperback, Nick Fury recruits Bruce Banner/The Hulk to help stop a self replicating, sentient space station that will soon start detonating nuclear warheads. Fury confides that they've been trying to stop this station for a while and the last time they did, Chernobyl was the result. So Banner agrees to be shot up into space, transform into the Hulk and disable the crazed machine. However, this was also a plan to banish the Hulk from the Earth, which he finds out when his shuttle starts automatically traveling away from the planet. Least to say, this does not make him happy, and sets the tone for the following series, PLANET HULK.
