This graphic novel is divided into two parts. In the first story a village of Sakaarians, which came from the planet Hulk once ruled (Planet Hulk) is slaughtered in the Savage Land, so Kazar contacts the Hulk to investigate. This is a more intelligent Hulk--and he agrees to go there to discover who or what is responsible. He gets there to find Kazar, the sabre-tooth Zabu and some Sakarrian warriors battling a T-Rex. They find out that it's the insect-race from Sakaar, led by Miek, the last of his kind. The intelligent insect has even reproduced and they are these fetus-squid things. Skaar, Hulk's son, can't bring himself to kill them because they are a part of his home planet, so he takes them off, to presumably build a new tribe.
The second story takes place in the modern world, and is sort of a spy story, complete with The Hulk in a tux. There's also Betty Ross, who is the Red She Hulk. Their relationship is a bit antagonistic. This time they are fighting the villain, Tyrannus.
I read this for the first story (Savage Land fan) so the second didn't impress me.
