Randall Boyll's first hardcover novel (he did novelizations for DARK MAN series, SHOCKER)concerns a University Professor who, under hypnosis, reveals that he was Adolph Hitler in a previous life. At first he views this as an elaborate joke by the teacher who hypnotized him. But why is he able to speak German all of a sudden? A local trash news show gets wind of this and soon his troubles start. People start believing he was really Hitler and attack his home and his family. In fact, he goes on the run, fearing for his life. In the meantime, there's an old fellow in Germany who is trying to locate the real grave where Hitler was buried-and when his travels bring him to America he gets the idea that he should ask Hitler himself-and kidnaps the Professor back to Germany. Is he really the reincarnation of Hitler? Will the real location of Hitler's body be found? As with all of author Boyll's previous work, this is a very engaging novel and highly recommended.
