It begins in the early 70's with a couple making out in their car in the woods. The stereotypical red-neck sheriff comes along with a flashlight and tells them to move it. They do and then he's devoured by zombies. Then we go to a guy named John who is part of the National Guard. He's been called in to do riot control around the Capitol. His woman is pregnant and he doesn't want to leave her. Then there's Christian, an ex-soldier hitching. He gets a ride from a van filled with some protestors on their way to Washington D.C.
Yet another NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD comic that's totally unnecessary. The artwork is so-so, and there's not even the gratuitous gore that was in the ESCAPE OF THE LIVING DEAD books. This is yet another zombie tale to avoid.
