This is an interesting graphic novel from IDW, Classic Star Trek stories told from the perspective of the Klingons. The framework is an old Klingon telling his daughter these stories--and this old Klingon is pivotal in turning the vote on whether the High Council will ask the Federation for help after their moon, Praxis, explodes. First, there's Kor and the Organians, then how a Klingon was made to look human in TROUBLES WITH TRIBBLES. There's also an appearance by Kang.
The authors do a good job of combining the look of the Kirk-era Klingon (no bumps) with the present day ones and there's a nod to the ENTERPRISE episode that explained this phenomena. The stories also fit within the Trek continuity, which always becomes more complicated--and interesting--as the years go on.
There's also a version of one of the stories entirely in Klingonese!
A must for Star Trek completists.
