Graphic novel takes place before the series SUPERNATURAL and shows what John Winchester did right after the death of his wife. He's determined to destroy the creature that killed her, though he's not sure exactly what that creature may be. Along the way he encounters some other hunters who may show this "greenie" a thing or two. Oh, and yes, children Sam and Dean are along for the ride. The story definitely has the same feel as the show, as it's written by series Executive Producer Peter Johnson. Recommended, whether you watch the tv series or not. Read it?
