This book consists of three novellas that take place within the same area and time period of Africa, an English outpost near the Waziri tribe and during the midst of WWII. In the first tale, Tarzan is asked by a friend in England to find his lost son. He discovers that he's in the jungle working for a horrible pharmaceutical company that believes they've discovered a plant that prevents aging. The guy is virtually a prisoner and the thugs the company has hired to protect their interest is killing quite a few of the natives. Tarzan puts a stop to all this. Then, a year or so later, he deals with a team of archeologists that has made a big discovery-and also a group of missionaries that is stirring up trouble amongst the local tribes. Then, in TARZAN THE CONQUEROR he has to stop the Third Reich from stealing the lands' riches and freeing the natives they have in forced work camps.
These three stories flow together quite well, as the main connection is the Point Station Outpost and the English officer who's in charge-and is also a good friend of Tarzan's. The only thing I found strange is that there's no mention at all of Jane. Still, this authorized by ERB book is a worthy addition to the original Tarzan books. Recommended.
