What's cool about this three-issue comic series, and which sets it apart from all the other TERMINATOR comics, is that it takes place during and immediately after the events of the very first movie. It turns out that Kyle Reese did not die at the end of the first movie but was captured by the authorities. Resistance fighter Ben, whose story was told in TERMINATOR: 2029, goes back to 1984 to help his friend Kyle Reese and tells a pregnant Sarah Connor that he's still alive. She's been out in the desert, hiding and practicing weapons. Once she finds out that the love of her life is alive she wants to go rescue him from the facility where he's kept prisoner. Of course, another Terminator is sent back in time from 2029 to kill them all...
This is a far superior sequel to the last two TERMINATOR movies and actually adds something more to the first two.
