This collects Ultimate Avengers 3, issues 1-6. The Avengers, the newly formed Black Ops Task Force led by Colonel Fury, is investigating Superhero disappearances in New York. It's all because of a new vampire who has acquired one of Iron Man's old suits of Armor, which allows him to walk in the daylight. For the past month he has been building an army of thousands of vampires and now he's converting the most powerful people he can get. There's a new teen DareDevil and his mentor, Stick, that are changed. Then, a disgruntled Nerd Hulk (he's a clone of the Hulk with Bruce Banner's brain) is converted and becomes an evil monster, worse than the original Ultimate Hulk.
In this series we're also introduced to the Blade of the Ultimate Universe, who is pretty much like the movie version of the character. He wants to help but the Fury is reluctant to get it as he can't bring himself to trust the guy. But when Captain America is bitten and becomes a vampire they need all the help they can get.
The thing I like about Marvel's Ultimate Universe is that it's far more brutal and unexpected things happen to the characters. However, this graphic novel has more of a feel of MARVEL ZOMBIES, which is "so so".
