The Gamma Corps consists of members who personally blame the Hulk for some catastrophe in their lives, whether death of loved one or a prior defeat, and so volunteered to be injected with Hulk DNA. These are Griffin, Prodigy (looks like a young Leader), Mess, Mister Gideon and Grey. In various flashbacks we're shown their specific origins. However, they find out that they were duped by the rogue General responsible for creating the team--and end up siding with the Hulk, as he was never responsible for their misery.
I liked this book because it's introduces some slightly familiar characters and gives them their own spin. it's also the most serious book of the whole WORLD WAR HULK series.
