Halloween (1978)
Michael Myers, who just escaped from a mental hospital, goes on a murderous rampage on Halloween night after returning to his hometown of Haddonfield, Ill. Inexplicably, his prize victim seems to be babysitter Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis). Psychiatrist Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) is on a mission to stop Myers in this slasher classic, which John Carpenter co-writes and directs. Nancy Kyes and Charles Cyphers co-star.
Dark Night Of The Scarecrow (1981)
Seeking justice after a local girl (Tonya Crowe) is brutally attacked, vengeful townspeople kill the suspect -- mentally challenged Bubba Ritter (Larry Drake) -- who tried to disguise himself as scarecrow. But they soon find themselves targeted by a mysterious apparition. Now postmaster Otis P. Hazelrigg (Charles Durning) and the rest of the men who murdered Ritter fight for their lives as the horrifying scarecrow embarks on a killing spree.
Halloween II (1981)
This bloodier sequel picks up where the original ended, with an injured Jamie Lee Curtis recuperating in the hospital from her showdown with murderous psycho Michael Myers. What she doesn't know is that Michael is licking his wounds in a nearby room. After Michael busts loose, he embarks on a new killing spree while Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) tries to track him down. First-timer Rick Rosenthal directs John Carpenter's script.
Night Of The Demons (1988)
Director Kevin Tenney's tale centers on a group of hormonal teeny-boppers who turn a creepy old house into party central and unknowingly unleash an ancient demon who chooses very bloody Marys as his drink of choice. All the old reliable stereotypes are represented in this ghoulish blood-fest: the arrogant ex-boyfriend, the hero, the jerky new love interest. Alas, most of them become fodder for the demon. It's his night, after all.
Halloween H20: 20 years Later (1998)
It's the first reunion in 20 years for two estranged siblings: former baby-sitter Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her brother, crazed slasher Michael Myers. With a witty script, a great cast (including LL Cool J and Michelle Williams) and Curtis's return to the role that made her a scream queen, Halloween: H20 is the final chapter in a legendary tale.
Ginger Snaps (2000)
The teenage years prove especially difficult for sisters Brigitte (Emily Perkins) and Ginger (Katharine Isabelle), who have an unexplained fascination with Goth and death. On the night of Ginger's first period, she's bitten by a werewolf and quickly develops several new traits -- including an aggressive sexual appetite. But as Brigitte tries to reverse the transformation, she must also hide her sister's mounting victims.
Halloween Remake (2007)
Directed by Rob Zombie, this reimagining of the original Halloween horror flick finds masked sociopathic killer Michael Myers (Tyler Mane) on the run from the mental institution where he's been committed since he was 10 years old. Immediately returning to his home town of Haddonfield, Myers haunts teenager Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton) -- and has no qualms about killing anyone who crosses his path. Malcolm McDowell co-stars.
Trick R' Treat (2008)
In writer-director Michael Dougherty's fright fest, Halloween's usually boisterous traditions turn deadly, and everyone in a small town tries to survive one night in pure hell... but who will still be alive in the morning? Several stories weave together, including a loner fending off a demented trick-or-treater's attacks; kids uncovering a freaky secret; a school principal -- who moonlights as a serial killer -- poisoning his candy; and more.

Here are a few other horror movies you might enjoy on Halloween. There are tons of movies that have a Halloween theme, so it is difficult to narrow down. Not all of these are Halloween related... but most are and they are all worth a viewing. So grab a six-pack of brew and your satchel full of candy ... these horror films are a good watch.

Trick or Treat (1986)
After learning that his rock 'n' roll idol (Tony Fields) died in a fire, teen outcast Eddie Weinbauer (Marc Price) consults a local DJ (Gene Simmons of Kiss) and learns that he can bring his hero back to life by playing his final album backward. With a resuscitated rock star by his side, Eddie's sure he can rule his high school. But on the night of the annual Halloween dance, everything goes to hell.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
The legend of that creepy masked-man, Michael Myers (George P. Wilbur), comes to life once again in this fourth installment of the successful horror franchise. This time, it's Michael's niece, Jamie (Danielle Harris), who can't seem to escape her crazy uncle. With Michael on the loose, Jamie enlists the help of good old Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) to stop the murderer. This time, though, there seems to be no end to Michael's madness.
Satan's Little Helper (2004)
It's Halloween eve, and 9-year-old Douglas (Alexander Brickel) is in for the fright of his life in this chilling horror tale. Dressed as "Satan's Little Helper" (from his favorite video game), Douglas goes out trick-or-treating and meets a guy dressed as the monstrous boss from the same video game. Staying true to the game, Doug offers to be his assistant, unaware that the masked man is really a serial killer on a Halloween murdering spree.
Jeepers Creepers II (2003)
After 23 horrifying days of gorging on human flesh, an ancient creature known as the Creeper embarks on a final voracious feeding frenzy, terrorizing a group of varsity basketball players, cheerleaders and coaches stranded on a remote highway when their bus breaks down. The terrified group is forced to come together and do battle against the winged creature hell-bent on completing its grizzly ritual... Hey, it could happen!
