Back in November Robert Zemeckis dropped out of Here There Be Monsters, Legendary Pictures' movie about Revolutionary War naval hero John Paul Jones with sea monsters that was penned by Brian Helgeland.
Breathing new life into the project, Vulture is reporting that Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol director Brad Bird is meeting with Legendary brass about the project, which originated as an idea by company chairman Thomas Tull.
