strong>Porcupine Tree main man Steven Wilson posted a quick blurb on his official Facebook page in which he states that he went to the home of Robert Fripp (King Crimson) to record his MK2 mellotron for Wilsons upcoming solo album. This album will be the follow-up to 2011"²s Grace For Drowning.
Today I was at Robert [Fripp]s place recording the mellotron parts for my new album on his original sixties MK2 mellotron, famously the one used on the debut King Crimson album. Playing a real mellotron is quite an exhausting physical experience, but it sounds amazing"¦.
