We are thrilled to announce that our highly anticipated and exciting Underground Horror Movie Network version 2.0 has been launched. We have upgraded pretty much everything to make a better experience for our users. We hope that you set up a profile so you can start promoting your movies. Soon, we will have the ability to sell your movies on our site.
One of the features on the front page of our site will be our Spotlight Section. If you would like to be featured on this section please send me a 300-500 word write up promoting your products, movies, etcalong with a graphic and we will rotate your information on our front page.
The Underground Horror Movie Network
The Underground Horror Movie Network (www.UHMN.com) launched an online horror community that allows fans, filmmakers and industry professionals to interact while discovering the very best independent horror content available for download back in 2007. Founders A.M. Dobberstein and the late S. Keith Miller (a.k.a. Gunslinger), who came to an untimely death back in 2008, developed UHMN as a networking destination for aspiring horror writers, directors, actors and fans of the genre. It's also a place for filmmakers or all genres to showcase their work and charge appropriately for it, thereby bypassing traditional distribution and expanding awareness.
UHMN members can create personal profiles, make friends and network with other movie enthusiasts, while discovering and consuming hard-to-find independent horror films that they can share their reviews on. Most of the films offered are not available through any online subscription-based movie rental sites. UHMN became a self sustaining network of movie buffs, but with 2010, UHMN decided to make its rebirth and relaunch their beta platform with which will give a new face and direction for the future in its goal to expand its online presence.
Membership is free and movie download pricing will vary by title. What better way to showcase your talent(s). Share what you have developed through your own personalized portal and even sell your bodacious goods. "Our technology provides immediate distribution directly through iTunes, iPods or appleTV so movies can be downloaded using the same technology fans have relied on for years. Fans will be able to get their favorite indie horror films instantly and securely and filmmakers will be able to showcase their films to the right audience. UHMN.com will provide in-depth coverage of the low-budget and independent horror movie industry through articles and contributions from industry experts and filmmakers.
