L.A.V. Pictures has set the release date in its second full length trailer for Gun Town the newest psychological horror western from first time director Lee Vervoort. Gun Town is set to receive a limited theatrical run, as well as premiering nationally on DVD, and On Demand Download on December 1st, 2009.
Gun Town finds a a group of friends fresh out of high school on a road trip to nowhere, pitted against the reclusive Bailey clan, the residents of a run down western show tourist attraction. Its draw or die, as the body count piles up.
Gun Town boasts a bevy of fresh faces including Christianna Aronstam, Lauren Hoffman, Morgan Graham, Andrew Thornhill, Joshua Harrison, Matt Snyder, Andy Grace, and Tim Emery as Dr. Sawbones, all under the guidance of Lee Vervoort who Wrote, Produced, and Directed the film.
When asked about the performances Vervoort said Everyone involved in the film did a great job and stuck together as a team even through the hot temperatures we had. Independent film is tough work and we actually were out in the middle of nowhere. None of us knew each other or had worked together with the exception of myself and the owners of Copper Canyon. I'm proud of everyone.
Gun Town will be available to rent and own on December 1st 2009, and can be found online at Amazon.com and at finer retailers everywhere.
