What is there to say that a simple Google search won't provide – quite a bit. Ken Foree has been one of the most recognizable faces in the horror genre since his starring role in George Romero's Dawn of the Dead. "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth," is probably one of his most quoted lines with fans begging him to say it at numerous appearances around the globe. His popularity is such that in the film Shaun of the Dead (2004), the writers paid homage to him by having Shaun work at Foree Electronics.
Ken Foree is all about the creative process; from pre-production to filming to the release of the film in theaters and on DVD. He manages to do this for every film he works on, regardless of how many are on his plate.
To quote a reviewer from Movies Online, "The movie stars Ken Foree, who is not only talented but one of the coolest people I have met. Loves his fans!" Simply put, Ken Foree is the complete package.
The Go-To Guy
When someone posted on the Arrow In The head message boards for advice in casting their horror film, the answer was simple - "Get Ken Foree." For people in the film community this is a no-brainer. The man, whom many people consider a staple of the independent horror genre, is someone the fans will pay to see.
Mr. Foree continues to expand into the horror realm, not only as an actor but as a producer and writer on various films. He's an actor who "brings a lot of energy and humor while truly endearing himself as the hero" of all his films. Those words were written in one of many glowing reviews of Foree's performance in Dawn of the Dead; making it less about horror and more about the character. This humanity resonates through his films and numerous charity works.
Zone of the Dead: The Original
Foree is "the baddest zombie-killer to ever hit the silver screen," so it was only natural for the Serbian based filmmakers of Zone of the Dead to star him. It was a perfect fit for the first zombie movie to ever be filmed in Serbia.
Shot completely on location, the film stars Foree as Agent Mortimer Reyes. The story revolves around a prisoner transport, supervised by legendary Interpol Agent Reyes, heading to Belgrade. Travelling through Pancevo they encounter an ecological disaster resulting in the infection of the locals. The only hope of survival is to work with the mysterious prisoner in his care.
The film has received positive reviews and Milos Jovanovic wrote, "A towering presence, it's easy to draw comparison between Ken Foree and John Wayne - observe Foree from Dawn of the Dead and Zone of the Dead, and Wayne from, say, Hondo and The Shootist or True Grit and you'll see what I mean." The film continues to travel across the globe in various festivals from PiFan to Stiges.
At the largest Serbian Film Festival - Film Meetings in Nis - Foree was awarded the "Special Emperor Constantine Award" for extraordinary acting achievement for the role of Reyes as well the audience award - "Best Actor."

Wrath of the Dead
A sequel is the next logical step. The film will again star Foree, however he will be an executive producer, with his production company, E&B Holdings, LLC. This is not the first venture for Foree as a producer, and it continues the commitment Ken is making to the horror genre.
It has been announced that the directors are penning the script together with the star of the film, Ken Foree. The story is set in a small town in East Quebec, where the chief of the police encounters an invasion of the walking dead. He calls his old friend, Mortimer Reyes, who had the experience with a similar case in Serbia. However, they soon realize that a secret government agency is trying to cover up this incident and that even bigger threats than zombies are the agents that are eliminating every person, living or dead. The working title is The Wrath of the Dead.
The Haunted World of El SuperBeasto
In this animated film by Rob Zombie based on his own comic, Ken Foree is the voice of Luke St. Luke. This dark animated feature showcases El Superbeasto, a massive over the hill wrestler who has more interest in exotic dancers than any other kind of adventure.
On September 7, 2009 the film was released on Pay-Per-View and VOD, before its limited theatrical run starting on September 12. On September 2, 2009 it was released on DVD and Blu-Ray.

D.C. Sniper
This docu-drama encapsulates the story behind the men know as The D.C. Sniper, John Allen Muhammad and his young protégé, Lee Boyd Malvo, and their killing spree in October of 2002. We feel the panic that fills Washington, D.C. that autumn as two detectives hunt their prey - just as the snipers hunt theirs. However, opposed to just a murder mystery, Ken Foree's iconic presence and illuminating vulnerability adds dimension to a man seen only as a murderer to most. Talking directly into the camera, we start to understand the person, Mr. Muhammad, through Foree's intensely felt performance.
Live Evil
A hunter dressed in black. This cowboy-hat-wearing samurai-sword-wielding Priest is on a quest for blood. Vampire blood! No, it isn't a goth film with bad make-up, it's a film starring Ken Foree as Max, a very powerful vampire and Tim Thomerson as his nemesis.
Live Evil will come out on Video on Demand, November 3rd on all major cable providers. The DVD's street date is February 23rd, 2010, but you can pre-order your copy via the films official website.
