Box Office Hit Saw 3D Featuring Rebecca Marshall On DVD January 25th, 2011. Rebecca can also be seen on an upcoming episode of MTV Cribs. Rebecca Marshall is alongside an ensemble cast of Tobin Bell (Jigsaw), Cary Elwes and Sean Patrick Flanery in the #1 box office hit, SAW 3D, on DVD next week. The thriller hits shelves on Tuesday, January 25th, 2011. In the latest Saw installment, a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw's brutal legacy, and a group of Jigsaw survivors gather to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror.
Rebecca can also be seen in an upcoming episode of MTV Cribs, where she lets viewers take a peek at her gorgeous home in the Pacific Palisades. Most recently, Rebecca launched her new website: www.rebeccamarshall.net
Born and raised in Toronto, Rebecca knew from an early age that she wanted to perform. After working on numerous Canadian productions and television commercials, Rebecca traveled to Los Angeles to audition for the role of Helen in Troy starring Brad Pitt. Although she was not cast in the role, she stayed in Los Angeles to continue her acting career. Her first guest-starring role was on the CBS series Threshold playing the role of Emily Biggs/Candy Cane, an alien who sleeps with Peter Dinklage in order to infect him with a virus.
Her roles continued on the Emmy Award television series West Wing as Carrie Marino, a political junkie who attended Yale and dated Ron Silvers character. On the television series Big Shots, Rebecca played the role of Gina, Dylan McDermotts girlfriend. Since then, she has been on CSI Miami as well as Shark, starring James Wood. Although her scenes were cut, she also had the opportunity to be cast and work with Kevin Spacey in 21. She also had a role in the Beverly Hills Film Festival Peoples Choice Award winning short film Escape'. You can catch Rebecca as Mira on Party Down on the Starz Network airing this year.
Rebecca is currently developing a website EverydayEnvironment.com to give people a voice about what we are doing to our planet.
In her spare time, when not traveling, Rebecca works on oil paintings, enjoys having game nights at home, reading and writing. You will most likely find her in a bookstore than a nightclub. She loves working with people who inspire her and push her to do her best. Rebecca heads up Moxie Lady Productions, which is currently taking on projects for consideration. She is also an avid sports fan. For years, she played softball and tennis, and she continues to lead a healthy lifestyle working out regularly with her personal trainer Jason Walsh.
Currently, Rebecca is renovating her home in Pacific Palisades.
