'Armed', the short horror/action film written and directed by Alberto Viavattene is the only Italian among the 10 selected in competition at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival, which will be held from 1 to 9 July in Neuchatel, and will compete for the Golden Mlis, the film prize awarded annually to the best European fantastic film by the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation. The short tells the story of three men whom after a robbery took refuge in their hideout to share the stolen goods, but something or someone asks for revenge...Many are the guests of the festival, including Eli Roth, Hershell Gordon Lewis and William Lustig.
