I Hate This, Do You Like It? Is the second in a series of music video's for Chickenhawk's A. Or Not? EP with the directorial debut of Danny North (NME) and featured over 200 zombie extra's throughout Leeds, UK shot over a 4 day period.

The A.Or Not? EP is the first Chickenhawk release on Brew and a follow up to their S/T debut album. These tracks lead the way towards a new album and plenty of touring. All tracks were recorded, mixed & mastered by Jason Sanderson (The Plight, Rolo Tomassi, Mirimar Disaster, Azriel, The Freezing Fog).

Chickenhawk have also gone through some rapid changes in the last year, Initially forming as a 3 piece back in 2005, Matt Reid (ex-Whores Whores Whores drummer) joined mid 2008 as the début album was due to be released. This new release hints towards where the band is heading, further diversifying whilst still keeping the Hawk spirit alive. A.Or Not? harnesses their powerful sound, testing the sonic boundaries in a freaked out riff driven prog force.
Chickenhawk are Paul Michael Astick (vocals/guitar), Robert James Stephens (guitar), Ryan Thomas Clark (bass) and Mathew Graham John Reid (drums). The band are based in Leeds and are part of the city's growing experimental rock scene alongside That Fucking Tank, Pulled Apart By Horses, These Monsters, Humanfly, Bilge Pump, and Castrovalva.
This is Brew's ninth record release following Kong's debut album Snake Magnet, Blood Of A Dove 7", Leather Penny CD single and i Concur's Lucky Jack & Oblige 7" singles alongside the Brew Vol.1 compilation.
A brief history of Chickenhawk
Born in 2004. We made songs. Recorded three in 2005. Released a demo. Recorded two more songs in 2006: Split with I Breathe Spears and With Scissors released on Millipede Records. Recorded 12 songs from April - December 2007. Released our album in 2008 on Sound Devastation Records. Drummer Matt Reid (ex-Whoresx3) joined late 2008, Stick 'Phil Collins-ed' to the front. Made 'NASA Vs ESA' video early 2009. Recorded 2 new songs for 'A. Or Not? EP in 2009. Made video for 'I Hate This, Do You Like It?'. Here endeth the history lesson.
The new video (I Hate This, Do You Like It?' (directed by Roach Productions and Danny North) is currently being treated to its final face-lift before its release on 4/9/9 (release party). Over 150 different zombies participated!
