This is an intriguing Sci-fi movie, part MATRIX, part LOGAN'S RUN, about a walled-in civilization 400 years in the future. One of the city's rebels, Aeon, is assigned to assassinate the leader, who is thought responsible for the disappearances of many people. Yet, when she finally comes face to face with him she realizes that she knows him although she's never met him before. They end up becoming allies and fugitives when his brother rebels against him-and he lets her in on the BIG SECRET that their society is built around.I don't know how this compares to the original MTV Aeon Flux cartoon, as I've never seen it, but as a movie this entertaining and keeps you guessing what's really going on. It also doesn't hurt that Charlize Theron is cast in the lead role.
