A biotech company, run by an old crippled guy (Ronny Cox of the original Robocop), decides to regenerate some dinosaurs from ancient DNA. Why? "Because it's cool", he says to an auditorium audience, before they break out from their pens and start killing people in Los Angeles. The main characters are a firefighter (Treat Williams) and his daughter. Of course, there's a showdown with him and a dinosaur--a Pterodactyl--in order for him to save his kid's life. Again, the company The Asylum has succeeded in pissing me off. Paint-by-the-numbers story, lame CGI creatures and once high profile actors who seem like they are sleeping through the entire movie. Definitely NOT recommended.
