This made for TV (UPN) movie uses the overused 'INVADERS' scenario, with human-looking aliens infiltrating humanity. It seems as if the space program has discovered an alien base on the moon--but it turns out to be fake, just a bunch of made up graphics. Then, turns out that there really is a colony on the moon--and the American government is going to nuke it. But if they do the aliens will retaliate. War is averted in the nick of time and nothing is really resolved.
