Two news reporters, with crew, are invited to visit Area 51, the area that is rumored to house alien artifacts. The Colonel in charge (Bruce Boxleitner of BABYLON 5) sets it up so that they only see the plausible human inventions, like a sonic gun and an invisibility shield. But beneath the "regular base" is the area where they keep dangerous aliens. Once of these humanoid aliens can change its shape to resemble anyone. It escapes by impersonating a doctor--and then frees some of the others, including a vicious one referred to as "Little Devil". Eventually the reporters get wind of this when they are trapped in a room and nearly killed--then have to somehow survive. They also get help from the one friendly alien, who had crashed in Roswell over fifty years earlier. This being looks more like the classical "Gray" type. There's also a side story about two soldiers, portrayed by Rachel Miner (SUPERNATURAL) and Jason (or is that Jeremy?) London that's not all that interesting.
I recommend this only because it's different enough than other movies I've seen on the subject, it moves fast and is more entertaining than not.
