In the year 2000 the Earth is invaded by the reappearance of talking dinosaurs who have awakened from their hibernation deep beneath the Earth. Lead by the evil Emperor Tyrannus they begin their destruction, the obliteration of mankind their goal. Although the first ten minutes or so is fairly entertaining, the effects in the realm of ULTRAMAN or JOHNNY SOKO AND HIS FLYING ROBOT, the movie becomes both childish and surreal when we are introduced to the humans who are at battle with the giant lizards. Whereas the dinos are live-action men in suits the human characters are all animated cartoons-and the two formats do not mix. A really strange idea that completely misses the mark.
