This movie takes place after the wars and there's a new age of exploration. Ranger David Martell (Dylan Neal of the vampire series BLOOD TIES) is given command of a twenty year old Minbari fighting ship which happens to be haunted. The Minbari second in command can sense their energy, more so when he's injured and close to death. They even warn him that a traitor is on board, which comes into play towards the end. The majority of the crew are human.
LEGEND OF THE RANGERS seems more like SPACE RANGERS or BUCK ROGERS: THE SECOND SEASON than it does a Babylon Five series, though it does have all the familiar aliens, such as the Minbari and the Narn--and a cameo by G'Kar (Andreas Katsulas). While it's not a bad show it just doesn't have the "feeling" of BABYLON 5, I think because it doesn't tie into the mythology of that show so much.
