This ten-part webisode series on Scifi.com takes place a little more than a week after the fleet--and the Cylons, have discovered the ravaged Earth. When the Cylons appear all the ships jump and the transport ship Gaita is on shows up in the middle of nowhere, separated from the rest of the ships. They are lost.
One by one the people on board are killed. There are two Cylon "Sharons" on board, one with whom he had a relationship with back on New Caprica. And the truth of what went on there is revealed, much to his dismay. He thought he was helping save lives when the people were really being killed.
There's some interesting character development, especially that Gaita is in a relationship with a guy.
The webisode series doesn't match up to one of the better episodes of the television series but it does add to the mythos of the show and will make a good supplement for the upcoming dvd release of the final season.
What looks far far more interesting is the trailer for CAPRICA.
