This is a direct sequel to MAD DOCTOR OF BLOOD ISLAND, picking up at the end of that movie, with stow away Don Ramos attacking the people on the ship and ultimately causing an explosion which kills everyone except Dr. Bill Foster (John Ashley). He returns to BLOOD ISLAND some months later, followed by reporter Myra Russell (Celeste Yarnall). It turns out that Dr. Lorca (this time portrayed by Eddie Garcia) has survived, along with henchman Ramu. He's continuing to do experiments on the natives, who he's contaminating with the green blood. In fact, he's captured the monstrous Don Ramon and has removed his head from his body. For some reason he has the idea of giving the body an artificial head (I guess he really is a madman!), though that doesn't work. Don Ramon/Beast of Blood is able to control his headless body and in the end gets his revenge on Dr. Lorca, who is responsible for his condition to begin with.
