This tape of the popular British television series contains the episodes THE WEB and SEEK-LOCATE-DESTROY. In THE WEB Blake and his crew are caught in this web that encircles a strange planet. One of the crewmembers, Cally, is possessed by an entity that turns out to be this creature that looks like a fetus with a large adult head. It controls these two artificial beings, who keep his domain safe. But an experiment in creating subserviant slaves they created has gone awry and the strange looking aliens continually attack the building they are in. They need to get an energy source from BLAKE in order to destroy the creatures. In return, the fetus alien will release them from the web.This is one of the better episodes I've seen. The costumes for the aliens look disturbing and hold up well to the camera. In SEEK-LOCATE-DESTROY and old enemy of Blakes', Commander Travis, is hired by the leader of the Federation to seek him out and destroy him.Cally is accidently left-behind during a mission and the Commander uses her as bait. But Blake has a plan of his own to thwart his old enemy.The tension is good between the two adversaries and Travis is made more sinister by his Phantom of the Opera-like mask and robotic hand. » Search Database for Blakes 7: Volume 3 (1980) Seen it?
