What a crazy ass movie we have here! How can anything be more horrific than a head in a drain pan? Even though this semi-classic cinema turkey borrows heavily from Frankenstein, it does have its own special charm. When an obsessed young Dr. is experimenting in transplanting limbs and organs, well, there's trouble from the start! After an auto accident that decapitates his girlfriend, our enterprising physician scoops up that head and heads for the lab. There are a couple examples of his past failures hiding around the lab, the worst of which is kept behind a locked door. The young woman's head is brought back to life and kept in a pan, hooked to all kinds of shit. Amazingly, she can still talk, hahahaha! Now this is where womanhood rears its ugly head. You know the guy busted ass to get her back to life and wants to put her head on a new hot body. Does she appreciate it? Hell, of course she doesn't. She is all bitchy about it and talks shit to the poor old lab assistant too boot. Even worse, the dead head wants to give out orders, talking to the freak locked behind the door in hopes of using him as a tool of destruction. Women... it figures, don't it? Doctor transplant does manage to sucker some chick into coming over in hopes of fixing her scarred mug. He doesn't give the exact details of how he's gonna do it though. I loved the line where he looks into her eyes so seriously and asks if he looks like the type to kill young women shortly before slipping a mickey into her drink. Toward the end of the movie all breaks loose. The head is pissed at his idea for her new body. He tapes her mouth shut (something we can all relate too, right guys?) and keeps on going. The thing in the closet breaks loose on her command and is the ugliest fucking thing you've ever seen. Dr. dies, lab assistant dies, lab burns, and head laughs. However, as any man with balls would do, the ugly freak grabs up the hot looking girl that was gonna be the heads new body and takes off, leaving the bitchy, domineering head lady to burn.
