Here's a movie that's so good you can even show your old lady without fear of verbal abuse, hell, you might even get a little bit after the show. See this flick isn't exactly a horror film, in fact, it's kinda hard to label the thing. It offers some suspenseful mystery and yes there's a murderous beast afoot. The fight scenes come fast and heavy, so the martial arts aspect of the movie kicks your ass. The semi-complex plot involving the twisted fates of church versus state keeps you guessing about what the hell's going on until nearly the end. Brotherhood changes its stripes as it goes in an all too cool manner. It never lets you quite grab this tiger by the tail before throwing another element into the mix. In short, this movie kicks major ass and should have got way more attention than it did. Maybe it mixed up too many cool things for the average dumbass to deal with, but if you wanna have some fun, just deal with it. The goofy dub job stopped bugging me about 15 minutes in. If nothing else check it out for the 4 or 5 awesome fight scenes, as these are the real shining moments of the film. The unraveling of the mysterious beasts origin are pretty damn good too. Hey, did I mention that hot Italian whore that ends up being way more than she seems by films end? You won't forget her after her nude scenes anyway. It's a unique movie that some may not enjoy, but it definitely will keep you watching and guessing, if nothing else to watch that redskin kick some ass.
