This newest installment of the CHILDREN OF THE CORN franchise rehashes the old story. This time it's about a young woman who visits her grandmother, only to find her missing. It seems that a few months ago Grandma sold her house and moved into an old, run-down apartment building in Omaha-and now she's disappeared with no word. Through a dream sequence it's revealed that she was killed-and brought back as a young, evil child. There's a lot of these creepy kids wandering the halls, not to mention the mini-corn field growing in the nearby lot. One by one people in the apartment building are killed-and each death brings back the resurrection of one of the original cult member children who worship 'He who walks behind the rows'. In the end the main character escapes with the help of a friendly police officer-and the whole building explodes in fire. Why do movies always have to end with the place exploding at the end? And it's not even for real-it's a computer effect!
