A cryptozoologist captures the legendary creature and smuggles it aboard the cruise ship he is taking off the island. Of course, it's accidently released from its cage and starts on a killing spree. The entire rest of the movie takes place within the ship, like one of those generic Roger Corman movies such as CARNOSAUR 10.John Rhys-Davies (LORD OF THE RINGS) is the ship's captain-and he seems a bit aimless. Perhaps he's realized that this is not a movie he wants to be in after all. The monster here is cool looking, resembling a large bat without wings. The story, however, is like the Chupacabra in that it sucks.
