Dr. Simon Shane (Art Hindle) and his partner/mentor Ezra Louthin (Ralph Bellamy) are nearing their goal of creating human clones. They think they are being funded by a secret government organization but it's really by millionaire Salt (John Van Dreelen), who wants that technology. He kidnaps and eventually kills Ezra, then goes after Shane.
By this time the clones are born--and they all resemble Simon, since he used his own DNA. There are twelve of them in all and they all have his memories up until the point where he took the cell sample from himself. He can communicate back and forth telepathically with each one of his "brothers" and they can all see what he can see, but they can't do this with one another. Simon effectively uses them to uncover what Salt is up to.
In the end, to keep them safe, he sends them all off to different parts of the country to different cities and there's a brief montage of one saying that he's in love and wants to get married--but what if she knew he was a clone, another says he's been arrested and they took his fingerprints, and another says he's aging, getting feeble. If these would have been stories in episodes in a series, this would have been very interesting show.
