I must say I was surprised that I enjoyed this movie as much as I did. Keanu Reeves is totally miscast as the Vertigo (DC) comics character John Constantine, yet the movie, in large part, captures the feel of those comic books. The antiChrist is going to be reborn and it's up to him to prevent that from happening. Along for the ride is a female cop, whose dead twin sister is somehow involved in all of this. The special effects are great and the portrayal of Satan as this sort of slovenly goomba is both creepy and hilarious. Strangely, the plotline is very similar to those PROPHECY movies starring Christopher Walken, as the angel Gabriel plays a large part in the events.Pretty much your typical overblown Hollywood adaptation.
