A young woman lawyer is kidnapped by a serial killer and tortured in his basement. He's this irritating, pudgy guy who talks far far too much. After he cuts off her finger she escapes-runs out of his basement, up the stairs and out of his house-only to get almost hit by a car. She's taken to the police station and tells her story. Only no one believes her. She takes the police to the house she escaped from and it turns out to be the city coroner's house. He says he has no idea who she is and pleads innocence. Since the cops all know him they think the woman is insane.I watched this the same night I watched HOSPITAL OF TERROR--and both movies have the exact same ending! » Search Database for Coroner, The (1996) Seen it?
