This is probably the best bloodsucking mutant killer vine movie I've ever seen....a small rural town, in the shadow of a huge chemical company, is infested with SOMETHING that scurries along the ground in ample POV shots. When the first victim, a young woman passing through town, is examined the doctor proclaims that she's so radioactive it's 'as if she was dipped in uranium'. Even though he's standing two feet away from her corpse he doesn't seem all that concerned about any danger, which really sets the tone for the rest of the movie. On hand is the local alchoholic who redeems himself by discovering the source source of the creatures, the evil head of the chemical company who shoots himself in the head rather than face the authorities, a forgettable leading lady who's greatest acting taleant is smiling a lot, and of course the killer vines themselves, which is a truly pathetic special effect.
