Basically, this is David Fincher making his version of FORREST GUMP--and I didn't like FORREST GUMP all that much to begin with. It's basically a three-hour-long overblown Hollywood movie with A-list actors doing a script that's supposed to be about everything but is really about nothing. And didn't I see this whole idea of someone being born old and aging backwards on the second season of MORK & MINDY, with Jonathan Winters? However, I did find it interesting at how realistic they were able to make a 90 year old looking Brad Pitt and a twenty-year old Cate Blanchett.
