Next to IMPRINT, this Tobe Hooper directed episode is the most disturbing 'Masters of Horror' episode yet.
In the near future, after World War III, a woman and her teenaged daughter continue to run a dingy diner. The trouble starts when a group of wild teenagers come in - one of whom has his eye on the daughter. She's stifled by her drab, overprotected existence so she gravitates toward this wild guy. She even agrees to sneaking out with him one night and going to a decadent, Mad Max-like city nearby. There, they go to an insane club where the entertainment includes watching zombies dance around with the help of cattle prods. But one of these zombies turns out to be her recently deceased sister, who the mother had viewed as a nuisance?
Robert England is perfectly cast as the decadent, diseased D.J. of the club, who likes to take advantage of all those female zombies.
