A virtual reality program, originally created for the purpose of entertainment is being used to condemn criminals. The prison system zaps their minds into the computer, then kills their bodies so they can't return. The program's creator, however, doesn't like this idea so he quits his job. He and his wife are enjoying a quiet life but she's killed, with their unborn baby. This puts him in a rage, determined to find out who killed her. He suspects the company. He ends up going into the program and we're not quite sure what's real and what isn't, so that by the end of the movie you have no idea what's going on. And then it comes off like one of those 'It was just a dream!' type movies.
