Begins with a ten-year-old girl, Niamh, who runs away from her house to the neighbors. She's very upset, saying things move around in her room. Then, one night, it happens again--and her parents are violently killed by moving furniture which crushes and impales them. The police find her the next day, hiding with her infant brother, but the brother is dead, crushed in her arms. The police say it's impossible that she could have done it. The neighbors agree to watch over her but more problems arise--and more people die in weird ways. We also learn of the terrible things her parents did to her and that her powers may be a manifestation of that.
This is a relentlessly dark, one-note movie with some intense, gorific scenes.
