Charles Jackson (Dominique Pinion, who always reminds me of a diminutive Rondo Hatten) wakes up to find out that's he's really dead. He frantically wanders around the countryside until he runs into Carol Miller, who mysteriously has the ability to see him. It turns out that she is to be a Darkhunter, whose job it is to return those souls to death before the demons find them. The special effects are very well done and I liked the character that Jeff Fahey portrayed, 'Phillip Barlowe'. Dressed like a 1940's detective he also has peeling lips and long, wicked fingernails, which indicates he's on the darker side of things. It's a well-produced but forgettable horror movie. From www.Maverickentertainment.
